- Trade Show Assistance
The export development program annually supports New Jersey companies at domestic and international trade shows such as the Produce Marketing Association Fresh Summit, The Canadian Produce Marketing Association Convention and the Fancy Food Show in New York. Through participation in these and similar international expositions, New Jersey companies can gain direct access to potential domestic and foreign buyers.
One of the highlights each year is the NJDA-sponsored pavilion for New Jersey food and agricultural companies at the U.S. Food Export Showcase in Chicago, Illinois. More than 30,000 domestic and international buyers attend the show. For additional information about the Showcase, contact Logan Brown, (609) 292-8853.

FAS AgExport kits are available through the New Jersey Department of Agriculture. The AgExport kit is designed to help new to export companies as well more experienced exporters. These kits include the AgExport magazine, a guide to available USDA export development services and order forms for foreign buyer lists, US supplier lists and the buyer alert program. - Product Promotion Assistance
As an active member of Food Export USA-Northeast, each year the NJDA helps small and medium sized New Jersey companies apply for over $1.2 million in federal funds for export development activities through the USDA's matched funds reimbursement Market Access Program (MAP). This program helps American firms establish foreign markets and increase current foreign market share. The MAP enables New Jersey companies to receive reimbursement for up to 50 percent of eligible promotional expenditures. Also through Food Export USA, the department coordinates the participation of New Jersey food and agricultural companies at international food expositions such as SIAL in Paris, France, ANUGA in Cologne Germany and FOODEX in Tokyo, Japan. For more information concerning product promotion opportunities, contact Logan Brown, (609) 292-8853.
