Diana R. Rogers, Interim Executive Director
On July 12, 2011, The Board of Directors of the Capital City Redevelopment Corporation, appointed Diana R. Rogers as the Interim Executive Director.

Prior to taking the helm of the Capital City Redevelopment Corporation Ms. Rogers served as the organizationís Project Manager. In this capacity, she was charged with supporting the Executive Director in the identification, implementation, coordination and management of community and economic development projects and initiatives in the Capital District on behalf of and in partnership with the State, the City of Trenton and the County of Mercer. Ms. Rogers is a former Contract Administrator for the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency where she managed a portfolio of 1900-2500 HUD units in New Jersey. She is also the former Director of Housing and Shelter Operations for the YWCA of Trenton.

Ms. Rogers currently serves as Co-Chairperson of the Mayorís Economic Advisory Council for the City of Trenton. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from North Carolina Central University and has dedicated the past eighteen years to housing and community/economic development and human services.

Ms. Rogers, an advocate of girl empowerment and leadership development and lover of books, conceptualized and implemented a series of reading circles designed to foster self-awareness and self-confidence among adolescent and teen girls.

Ms. Rogers is a former member of the Board of Directors of the YWCA of Trenton, which is committed to the elimination of racism and the empowerment of women and girls and provides services to families in the City of Trenton and Mercer County. As a member of the board, Ms. Rogers served on the Nominating Committee, Gala Committee and Girls Leadership Programming Committee. She is also a member of Leadership Trenton and is the immediate past chairperson of the groupís volunteer committee. Her civic and community involvement also includes volunteer with the Girl Scouts, member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and past Co-Chairperson of the I AM Trenton Community Foundation Grant-Making Committee.

Ms. Rogers resides in Trenton, NJ and is the proud parent of a college freshman.
