Today marks my last day interning with the CCRC here in Trenton!
If you’ve been reading along with these updates, I hope that what you’ve taken
away from them has been that Trenton has a lot to offer in terms of history, activities,
and food (my personal favorite). Many people locally only know Trenton as the area
where they work, or go to the DMV, or the site of the county/state government; I myself
had not spent much time in Trenton before my internship here. This summer, though, I have
really enjoyed seeing what the city has to offer. I know I’ll be coming back so much more
often to share it with friends who aren’t as familiar with the city.
The CCRC would like to congratulate HHG Development and the New Jersey Housing &
Mortgage Finance Agency for their work on Trenton’s Cracker Factory.
The project has received a Smart Growth Award from New Jersey Future for Historic
