David Pinkus

David Pinkus School/District: Biotechnology High School - Monmouth County Vocational School District

Grade Level: 10th-11th

Teaches: Physics

David Pinkus holds a B.S. in GeoSciences from Penn State and is currently doing graduate work at the University of Virginia. In 2011, he received the Siemens Foundation Founder's Award, a national award for supporting student research in science and math. In the past two years, he is one of only four recipients of this prestigious award. Dave spent two weeks last summer working with researchers at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and will be venturing to Chicago this summer to be trained as an advocate for Citizen Science. He has been teaching physics in New Jersey for the past twelve years.
