Donald Stech, Jr. is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. His teaching career began in 1999 at Mt. Pleasant Junior High School in Texas where he helped a largely at-risk population improve their social studies state testing scores from 69 percent to 96 percent. In 2004, Donald returned home to teach at Woodstown Middle School. He has also been a Technology Mentor to staff and students, Student Council Advisor, and co-producer of the annual school play. He attributes his success in the classroom to an understanding wife, hard work, and faith in the potential of all his students.
