OTHER FUNDING SOURCES - FOUNDATION & OTHER NON-GOVERNMENTAL GRANT PROGRAMS

National Education Association (NEA) Foundation for the Improvement of Education (FIE)
To fund high-quality professional development experiences or collegial study groups leading to improvements in practice, curriculum and student achievement; and to support collaborative efforts by two or more colleagues to develop and implement novel ideas resulting in high student achievement, especially for underserved students.

Eligibility:U.S. public school teachers of grades K-12; public school education support professionals; and higher education faculty and staff at U.S. public colleges and universities. Preference will be given to NEA members.

Funding:Grants range from $1,000 to $3,000.
