Purpose: The Nontraditional Career Resource Center program is designed to meet the state’s goal of preparation of nontraditional students, occupational training and employment to meet the needs of the 21st Century workplace and the global economy; assist in developing academic, career and technical skills for students who enroll in career and technical education programs. The focus of the Nontraditional Career Resource Center program is to serve the career interests of public school students in grades 7 and above. The Nontraditional Career Resource Center program is a continuation grant limited to the currently-funded agency that was awarded a grant under the originating 2007 NGO. Based on the availability of state and federal resources, this continuation year of the grant program will begin October 1, 2010 and end September 30, 2011.
