The City Clerk serves as the Secretary to the Municipal Corporation, Custodian of the Seal and all minutes, books, bonds, contracts and archival records. The Clerk also serves as Chief Administrative Officer in all elections held in the Municipality, and issues various licenses and permits. The City Administrator is appointed by a majority vote of the governing body. The term of office shall be at the pleasure of the governing body. The City Administrator is the chief appointed administrative officer of the City and shall coordinate the business affairs and administration of all City departments, officers, employees, agencies and agents of the City. The City Administrator shall be assigned to the Department of Revenue and Finance, but have responsibility to and duties regarding all agencies and departments within the City.
Office Hours and Location
The Clerk's office is located on the 3rd floor of the municipal building. (High Street Entrance) The office is open Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM. Upon entering the Municipal Complex from the High Street entrance, please sign in at the reception desk before continuing through the complex.
