RESCHEDULED - Mercer County Cultural Festival

Oct. 19, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mercer County Park, West Windsor.
 Rain date Oct. 20.

County Executive Brian M. Hughes and the Board of Chosen Freeholders present the annual Mercer County Cultural Festival on Oct. 19 from 11 am to 6 pm in Mercer County Park in West Windsor.

Mercer County is a melting pot of many cultures which come together here in the capital county of one of America’s most diverse, densely populated states. Mercer County’s 12 municipalities are home to citizens of a variety of ethnicities and countries of origin, and in celebration of this, Mercer County is hosting its second Cultural Festival on Oct. 19 in Mercer County Park in West Windsor, from 11 am to 6 pm. The one-day festival will celebrate diverse cultures through traditional food, live cultural music and dance performances. The festival will also feature artists exploring their heritage in their art and crafts.

Mercer County Culture and Heritage is working with local cultural organizations to schedule appearances and performances. The stage schedule and list of participating artists will be available soon. Please check back in a few months. Until then, you can see highlights from last year’s festival in the slide show in the More Information box on the right.

Admission and parking are free. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled to the following day: Oct. 20. For more information, or if you are interested in being a vendor, please call (609) 278-2712 or email
