Ewing Township
On or about May 29, 2012, milling and resurfacing work will begin on Sullivan Way from Lower Ferry Road to Railroad Avenue.  Mercer County anticipates that this work will take approximately ten (10) working days, weather permitting.  During construction, this section of Sullivan Way will be closed to through traffic from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays only.  However, emergency access and access for businesses and residents would be permitted during this time. Southbound traffic will follow West Upper Ferry Road/Parkway Avenue; right on Lower Ferry to Sullivan Way.  Northbound traffic will follow same route conversely.

Hopewell Township
On or about May 14, 2012 milling and resurfacing work on Lambertville-Hopewell Road (County Route 518) from Woodsville Road to County Route 579 will commence.  Mercer County anticipates that this work will take approximately ten (10) working days, weather permitting.  During construction, this section of Lambertville-Hopewell Road will be closed to through traffic from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays only.  Westbound traffic will follow Woodsville Road to Route 31 North; left on Harbourton Road (County Route 579) to Lambertville-Hopewell Road, end of detour.  Eastbound traffic will travel the same route conversely.   Motorists should expect delays in construction area.  Emergency access and access for businesses and residents would be permitted during this time.

Hamilton Township
On or about April 30, 2012 milling and resurfacing work on Whitehorse Avenue from Whitehorse Circle to Arena Drive will begin. During construction, this section of Whitehorse Avenue will be closed to through traffic from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays only.  Southbound traffic will travel South Broad Street to northbound Gropp Avenue to westbound Arena Drive to Whitehorse Avenue (end of detour). Northbound traffic will travel same route conversely. Motorists should expect delays in construction area.  Emergency access and access for businesses and residents would be permitted during this time. On-street parking would be restricted as needed. Mercer County anticipates that this work will take approximately ten (10) working days, weather permitting.

West Windsor Township
Please be advised that on or about January 3, 2012, Rabbit Hill Road will be closed for replacement of Rabbit Hill Road Bridge (No. 762.6) over Big Bear Brook. Mercer County anticipates that this work will take approximately 120 calendar days, weather permitting. During this time the roadway will be closed to traffic, but local traffic will be permitted up to the limits of the bridge. The following detour will be in place:
  • Through traffic will be directed to use Princeton-Hightstown Road, Southfield Road and Cranbury Neck Road
