TRENTON, N.J. - Historic Mercer County and its 13 municipalities are home to an array of fine, visual and performing arts venues, diverse ethnic communities with rich cultural traditions and fascinating historic sites.

It also supports a thriving community of artists, performers, artisans, and history advocates who strive to provide a multitude of opportunities for the County’s residents.

Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes, the Board of Chosen Freeholders, the County’s Division of Culture and Heritage and the County Cultural and Heritage Commission are proud to present Eyes On Mercer, a weekend-long celebration of the cultural wealth within the “Capital County.”

On October 15, 16, and 17, Eyes On Mercer will spotlight the hundreds of free or low cost activities and events happening that weekend that are just a sample of what takes place all year round in Mercer County. Eyes On Mercer features concerts, museum exhibits, sports, family fun, site tours, theater and comedy performances, outdoor activities and visits to historic venues, among others.

“There is so much to see and do right here in your backyard,” said County Executive Hughes. “Take a look at all the free, exciting events that Mercer County can offer and come join us as we celebrate with Eyes On Mercer.”

For a complete list of all the exciting events and activities taking place October 15-17, along with maps detailing exactly where to find them, please visit the Eyes On Mercer webpage at the County website, www.mercercounty.org.
