TRENTON, N.J.
- County Executive Brian M. Hughes is pleased to announce that Mercer County is hosting two informative businesses seminars to help businesses expand and improve. Upcoming are Doing Business with Mercer County and The Price is Right: The How - To’s of Pricing your Products & Services for Marketing Success.

In an effort to include more Mercer County business owners in its bidding and contracting process, Mercer County has created the Doing Business with Mercer County workshop. Scheduled for Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton Library (1 Justice Samuel Alito Jr. Way), the program will include current bidding opportunities; bid preparation; an overview of the bid process; requirements following a successful bid; and receiving payment.

In addition, the Price Is Right seminar will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Lawrence Library (2751 Brunswick Pike). The seminar will help you competitively price your product or service for the market you are trying to reach and will allow you to determine the factors that go into pricing decisions. Specifically, the workshop will help you understand how your cost structure affects the price of your product or service; link marketing efforts to your price point; identify when to use price incentives and loss leaders with your customers; and learn how to use your pricing model as a tool for growth.
