Baldpate Mountain to be closed on select dates for Deer Management

TRENTON, N.J. - The Mercer County Park Commission will close Baldpate Mountain in Hopewell Township to all visitors on select days for the annual deer management program. Those dates are as follows:
November 17, 28-30, 2012
December 5-8, 12-15, 20, 21, 27, 28, 2012
January 2-5, 9-12, 16-19, 23-26, 30, 31, 2013
February 1, 2, 6-9, 2013
Exact project dates also will be posted on the various gates leading into the area. Please note that unauthorized persons entering the area on the above dates not only put themselves at risk, but also will be cited.
The rules and regulations and dates of the program can be found on the Park Commission website at http://nj.gov/counties/mercer/commissions/park/natureprog.html. Any questions should be directed to the Park Commission at (609) 303-0706 or jrogers@mercercounty.org.
