TRENTON, N.J. -- Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello reminds County residents and businesses the Clerk’s Office will be collecting warm winter coats for the HomeFront Shelter from October 15 through November 30.

The initiative called “Have a Heart and Share a Coat” will have two drop-off locations, the Mercer County Clerk’s Office at 209 South Broad Street in Trenton, and at the Mercer County Connection, located in the Hamilton Square/Acme Shopping Center on Highway 33 & Paxson Avenue in Hamilton. Cleaned, warm coats for adults and children will be accepted until November 30 for the homeless.

HomeFront’s mission is to end homelessness in Mercer County by harnessing the caring, resources and expertise of the community. HomeFront is located at 1880 Princeton Avenue, in Lawrenceville and provides emergency-transition housing for the homeless, in addition to food pantry services and employment support.
