Freeholder Pasquale “Pat” Colavita reads to children at Noah’s Ark Preschool in Trenton as part of the 3rd annual Early Mercer Reads program on April 14, 2011. The program, an initiative of the Early Childhood Literacy Committee of Mercer County’s Workforce Investment Board (WIB), connects volunteers from the community with local childcare centers in an effort to inspire a lifelong interest in reading among young children.
