The Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders presented local theater sensation Alphonso Jones, II with a Certificate of Honor
The Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders recently presented local theater sensation Alphonso Jones, II with a Certificate of Honor in recognition of his acclaimed portrayal of “Simba” in the Broadway production of “Lion King.” Jones, a resident of Trenton, was named top young artist in live theater at the 32nd Annual Young Artists awards.
