Freeholder Lucylle Walter Speaks at the 67th Annual American Legion Boys’ State

Freeholder Chair Lucylle R.S. Walter was in attendance at the American Legion Jersey Boys State(ALJBS) program at Rider University. Freeholder Walter discussed the role, structure and responsibilities of County Government to an audience of over 900 young delegates from across the state. According to their website, the ALJBS “educates our youth in the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of American citizenship” and “endeavors to provide a foundation for understanding self-government, a rational approach toward the solution of public questions, and a live faith in the ideals and processes of democracy.”
