All papers sent to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office for the service of civil process are required to have the necessary copies, letter of instruction, a self addressed stamped envelope for your return and correct fees to insure the documents will be processed in a timely manner. All addresses given for service must include street name, number and zip code, not just a mailing address. P.O. Box, RD's, RR's, etc. are not considered a sufficient address and will result in your papers being returned to you.

For Summons:

One (1) original summons and three (3) copies for each defendant are required.
One (1) original complaint and a copy for each defendant are required.

For all Writs:

One (1) original and three (3) copies are required. All endorsements must be completed.
