CAMPS is a web-based system that houses employment information for local government employees. This one-day course provides participants "hands on" training on how to enter personnel transactions and other personnel-related information in the CAMPS system. Also featured in this training is an overview of applying Title 4A rules to personnel transactions.
Participants who complete this course will be able to:
- Understand how Title 4A rules apply to personnel transactions.
- Enter personnel transactions directly into an online personnel system.
- Update employee information such as salary, duration of employment, or job-related personnel information.
- Compare titles and determine the appropriate transaction and appointment type code.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) uses the "on demand" approach CAMPS training. That is, CSC waits until there are enough interested participants on a waitlist in a particular location before scheduling a class.
