Course Description

Few skills are as important within an organization as face-to-face communication. Being able to communicate effectively is essential for an employee's successful performance. This one-day course explores communication strategies that are vital for making good impressions, and provides participants with an awareness of what messages our body language, facial expressions and tone is conveying.

Learning objectives include:

  • Understanding non-verbal messages and other communication elements

  • Resolving confusion and misunderstanding in our communication

  • Developing skills to listen actively and empathetically to others

  • Building comfort and confidence to deal with situations assertively
