Course Description

This two-day course covers the basic functions and new features of SharePoint 2013. Students will learn how to work with lists, public websites, follow content and use dicsussion boards, surveys and blogs. Students will also learn how to customize their environment by updating their profile and privacy settings. In addition, students will learn how to sync libraries and post to a team's site feed.

Course Objectives

After completing this course, students will know how to:

  • Navigate a SharePoint 2013 Team Site
  • Create SharePoint lists
  • Customize SharePoint lists
  • Create SharePoint libraries
  • Manage library document versions
  • Create SharePoint list and library views
  • Create sub sites using various SharePoint templates
  • Create and edit Web page content
  • Create InfoPath Forms and Form libraries
  • Create Site columns and content types
  • Integrate Office applications with SharePoint 2013
  • Manage basic permissions of SharePoint 2013 resources
