HMFA Board

The NJ Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency is established under, but is not a part of, the Department of Community Affairs and is constituted as a body politic and corporate and an instrumentality of the state, exercising public and essential governmental functions.

Its members include the following ex officio members: Commissioner of the Department of Community Affairs, the State Treasurer, the Attorney General, the Commissioner of Human Services and the Commissioner of the Department of Banking and Insurance.

There are also four public members appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the State Senate for terms of three years. The four public members must be residents of the state and must have knowledge in the areas of housing design, construction or operation, finance, urban redevelopment, or community relations. The Commissioner of the Department of Community Affairs is the ex officio Chairman of the Agency.

Please be advised that the regular meetings of the Members of the Agency Board for the year 2013 are listed below. All meetings will be held at 10:00 a.m., unless otherwise indicated, in the Agency's Board Room, at 637 South Clinton Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey.

This notice is given in accordance with the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq. and has been filed with the Secretary of State, and The Star Ledger, the Courier Post, and The Times, and will remain posted at the Agency's office at 637 South Clinton Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey. Please be advised that Board Meetings are subject to change, and that any scheduling changes will be filed with the Secretary of State, and the Agency's designated newspapers, and posted at the Agency in accordance with the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act.
