  2. Governor Christie Signs Legislation To Preserve New Jersey History

    August 15, 2011: Trenton, N.J. – Safeguarding New Jersey's legacy for future generations, Governor Chris Christie today signed legislation securing more than $10 million to help preserve 58 historic sites throughout the Garden State. The Governor signed S-2898 in Mount Laurel at Paulsdale, the residence of suffragette and noted New Jerseyan Alice Paul. The home is on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places and is a designated National Historic Landmark.

  3. Thanks to All who attended the 2011 Preservation Conference



    Thank you to all the guests, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and volunteers who made the 2011 NJ Historic Preservation Conference such a huge success. More than 300 participants attended the plenary session, educational presentations, and field tours.  The National Historic Landmark Woodrow Wilson Hall at the center of Monmouth University provided a spectacular backdrop for the vendor exhibit area and the fine weather allowed the lunch crowd and evening reception to enjoy the garden and fountains.
