Keeping the Past Present: The New Jersey Historic Trust, 1967-2013
This recently published report summarizes the history and success of the NJ Historic Trust and its 25 years of granting for preservation planning and “bricks and mortar” capital grants through the 1990s bond programs, Garden State Historic Preservation Trust Fund and 1997 and 1999 bond referendums. The document also summarizes the results of the 2012 Capital Needs Survey that identified more than $751 million in need for the repair, preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of publicly owned and nonprofit managed historic resources throughout New Jersey.

Historic Trust Annual Reports, required to be presented to the State Legislature, summarize the accomplishments of the Trust and include listings of successfully completed grant-funded projects and newly awarded grants.
