2012 Trust Fund Monitoring
At this time, all affordable housing trust fund monitoring reports are due on or before March 30, 2013. Trust fund data through December 31, 2012 must be entered, and an AHTF Monitoring Certification must be completed and signed. Click here to download a copy of the AHTF Monitoring Certification.
The signed certification, as well as monthly 2012 bank statements and reconciliation, must be submitted by email, fax, and/or mail by March 30, 2013. Please note that, new this year, bank statements for each month of 2012 must be provided. Failure to submit accurate monitoring reports within this time frame may result in the trust fund balance being directed to the “New Jersey Affordable Housing Trust Fund” established pursuant to section 20 of P.L. 1985, c. 222 (N.J.S.A. 52:27D-320).
All municipalities must have a person(s) trained to enter trust fund data. Please see the Training Opportunities page for more information about upcoming training sessions.
COAH staff is available to provide assistance over the phone or in person to a municipality that does not have a designated affordable housing trust fund report preparer or needs assistance to navigate the CTM AHTF data base system. Additionally, CTM training classes for projects, RCAs and Trust Funds are scheduled for this January and February at the DCA Building in Trenton. See below for more information.
