Leah McGarry Morris

Leah McGarry Morris joined the Office of the Public Defender in 1976 as a staff attorney in the Camden Trial Region and became a First Assistant there in 1996. Since 2001, she has been a member of Public Defender Management, serving from 2001- 2002 as an Assistant Public Defender, from 2002 - 2013 as the Director of Training for the agency, and serving again as an Assistant Public Defender since July, 2013.

She continues as the Director of Training for the Office of the Public Defender, is its Ethics Liaison Officer, and has a variety of other administrative responsibilities as well.

Ms. Morris graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1972 and from Temple University Law School in 1975. She became a Certified Public Manager in 2002.
