Pool Attorney Information

When the services that the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender (NJOPD) needs to provide to its clients cannot be given by staff attorneys due to legal conflict or for other reasons, the NJOPD contracts with selected private attorneys - who are referred to as "pool attorneys" - to provide those services.  All private attorneys who wish to become pool attorneys must complete the vendor compliance requirements which can be found at http://www.state.nj.us/defender/vendor/index.shtml
