Honoring New Jersey’s Black Creek Site

A 10,000 year old Native American site which was once
occupied by the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indians. Commissioner
Bradley M. Campbell, New Jersey Department of Environmental
Protection, will present history of the site and efforts by
New Jersey Indian groups and the Department of Environmental
Protection to preserve it.

Indian Museum, and will include an appreciation of Chief Crazy

There will be a parade in the City of Camden at noon,
including school bands, ending at the Waterfront, with a reception
at the South Jersey Performing Arts Center. There will also
be an evening sail open to the public.

to revive this industry through the introduction of a new
species of oyster.
