Barnegat Bay Blitz
October 20, 2011 Blitz Recap: Barnegat Bay Blitz at Beachwood Elementary School
It was a job well done by the Beachwood Elementary School Bears! Students grades 1st- 5th all participated during their recess time by helping to clean up the litter all around their school property. They all learned about the importance of protecting the Barnegat Bay Watershed by watching the EnviroScape presentation before they began their clean up efforts! Take a look at our day and the results!

Barnegat Bay Blitz at Toms River Intermediate South (Oct 20, 2011)
Toms River Intermediate South, also in Beachwood was among many of the schools that were involved with the Barnegat Bay Blitz. Mrs. Donna Matlosz and her 90 students conducted a school property clean up of their own! She had a combined total of 6 bags between her recycled items and garbage. Great job Seminoles! Way to protect the Barnegat Bay Watershed! Some of the interesting items at the school were bandages, gauze, and school supplies.
