May 9, 2012 - Despite the weather conditions the Mantoloking Blitz event was a success. We were able to have 12 Department staff volunteers participate. We had full support of the township with them providing supplies, trash collection, and one devoted volunteer. The group was able to collect approximately 8 bags of trash and 3 bags of recycling from various locations throughout the township. A good time was had by all involved, with enthusiasm for the next blitz and hopes for slightly better weather.
October 19, 2011 Blitz Recap:
Our team concentrated our clean up efforts near the Mantoloking Yacht Club and the surrounding streets. We had 8 volunteers who braved the weather to help clean up the Bay area.
