New
Jersey Digital Land Dataset Comparison
and Integration Analysis
The primary objectives of this study
were: 1) to conduct an analysis
of five statewide projects undertaken
to classify and map New Jersey’s
ever-changing landscape to understand
how these data sets compare and
can augment one another and 2) to
provide guidance to data users and
environmental managers to aid in
the application of these digital
data sets. The New Jersey Department
of Environmental Protection, Division
of Science, Research and Technology
supported this study through a mini-grant
from the New Jersey Center for Environmental
Indicators, a collaboration of the
New Jersey Department of Environmental
Protection, Rutgers University,
and the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey.
