2002 Walleye Breeder at Hackettstown


Large walleye breeder

Fisheries Worker Steve Strodel holds an 11.4-pound walleye netted in Swartswood Lake. The fish measured 28 inches.

Hackettstown Hatchery staff will use this breeder and others like it to produce fish for stocking in Lake Hopatcong, Greenwood Lake, Monksville Reservoir, Canistear Reservoir and Swartswood Lake.
