Hunter Education Practice Exams
Upon completion of the NJ Hunter Education Home Study Course students are encouraged
to take the appropriate practice exam prior to attending a field session. Below
are links to one practice exam and answer key for each discipline.
The minimum passing score for each practice exam is 80%, or 36 correct answers
of the 45 questions. The actual exam will consist of 40 questions common to
all disciplines, and an additional 20 for each of the three disciplines. The
passing score of 80% of the basic 40, as well as 80% for each of the discipline-specific
portions, is required for completion of the course.
