“Bow Shooting for Beginners” will be offered on Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Class topics will cover the fundamentals of archery including proper shooting form, sight adjustments and basic bow tuning. Participants will also have a chance to practice at an indoor range with a certified Hunter Education Instructor. Students should bring their bows and arrows (no broadheads) to class.
“Advanced Bow Tuning” will be offered Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. It is designed for bowhunters who want to hone their already existing skills. Topics include bow tuning, paper shooting, powder testing and fine-tuning broadheads. Students should bring their own equipment.
“Hunting Whitetails” will be offered on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. The class will cover deer biology, behavior, scouting, hunting tactics and field dressing.
