2005 Peregrine Banding Photo Gallery

On Monday, June 6, biologists Kathy Clark and Mick Valent of the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife's Endangered and Nongame Species Program placed leg bands on three chicks, two females and one male, atop 101 Hudson Street in Jersey City. Those following the story in Nestbox News, and watching the growth of the chicks on the Peregrine Webcam, know that this year's nesting season has been a roller-coaster of highs and lows. Fortunately, all three chicks seem healthy and on track to fledgewithin the next few weeks.

The pictures below show Kathy and Mick in action, as well as some guests invited by the Conserve Wildlife Foundation. Clicking on the pictures will open a larger version.
