The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Green Acres Program invites our partners to use our 50th anniversary logo and message in their press releases and publications.
New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Green Acres Program is celebrating its 50th birthday. New Jerseyans have supported open space preservation and park development efforts since 1961. The Green Acres Program was created to meet the State’s growing recreation and conservation needs. Together with public and private partners, Green Acres has protected 650,000 acres of open space and provided hundreds of outdoor recreational facilities in communities around the State.
