Who is Eligible
All 21 New Jersey counties and 558 of the 565 New Jersey municipalities receive funding
Qualifications Required for Consideration
The Clean Communities Grants are entitlement grants. Grant amounts are based on population, housing units road mileage, etc. At present, only seven municipalities are NOT eligible to receive Clean Communities Funding. They are: Loch Arbour (Monmouth), Millstone Borough (Somerset), Pine Valley (Camden), Rockleigh (Bergen), Tavistock (Camden), Teterboro (Bergen) and Walpack (Sussex)
Grant Limitations
Grants are limited based on the availability of funding.. A absolute minimum grant is $4,000.
