1992 Dam Restoration and Clean Water Trust Fund and the 2003 Dam, Lake and Stream Project Revolving Loan Fund.

The “Green Acres, Clean Water, Farmland and Historic Preservation Bond Act of 1992”, P.L. 1992, c. 88 and the “Dam, Lake, Stream, Flood Control, Water Resources and Wastewater Treatment Project Bond Act of 2003”, P.L. 2003, c. 162. Program Rules at N.J.A.C. 7:24A‑1.1 et seq.
Who is Eligible
Local government units, private lake associations or
similar organizations and owners of private dams as
co-applicants with a local government unit.
Qualifications Required for Consideration
Applicant must have a project that meets the objectives of the program as defined in the program rules. Type of project funded (dam restoration, flood control, water pollution control or water-related recreation and conservation projects) depends on the source of funding. The 2003 Bond Act provided funds only for dam restoration.
Limited to eligible costs as defined in the program
Application periods will be established from time to
time. Notification will be published in the New Jersey
