WHO IS ELIGIBLE
Any municipality or county.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION
Must submit a completed application. There must be no outstanding compliance problems. Applicant must meet technical eligibility requirements (program specific). Applications are evaluated based on a ranking system that is included in the application package.

GRANT/LOAN LIMITATIONS
Differ from year to year depending on funds available and total applications received.  Funding awards are in the form of a matching grant, low-interest loan, or grant/loan combination, depending on the project category.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
There is an established application process. Technical assistance by program staff is available upon request.

APPLICATION DEADLINE
Varies, but notifications are sent to eligible applications and notice is put on Green Acres Website well in advance of the deadline.

NOTIFICATION DATE
Varies, but usually three months after application deadline.
