COASTAL GENERAL PERMIT 6 – Beach and Dune Maintenance Activities
Coastal General Permit 6 authorizes beach and dune maintenance activities, such as routine maintenance, emergency post-storm beach restoration, and dune creation and maintenance, provided:
- The activities are conducted in accordance with “Best Management Practices” as defined at N.J.A.C 7:7E-3A.2, 3A.3 and 3A.4;
- The activities are not conducted in wetlands;
- Public access to the beach is provided in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:7E-3.50 and 8.11.
