Quarterly Brownfield Roundtables

The Quarterly Brownfield Roundtables are a forum designed to promote information sharing among both public and private entities involved with the remediation and reuse of brownfields in New Jersey.  These Roundtables are held in the Public Hearing Room on the first floor of the Department of Environmental Protection building, 401 East State Street in Trenton.  No pre-registration is required.

The morning sessions, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, are workshops for municipal, county, state, federal and non-profit communities only. Consultants or other private entities are only admitted at the request of one of these public communities.  DEP uses this forum to learn, from our public entities, what is working and what is challenging their brownfield redevelopment efforts.

The afternoon session, from 1:00 to 4:00, is a forum open to all interested in New Jersey brownfield redevelopment.  A regular feature of the afternoon session is a regulatory and legislative update from representatives of the US EPA and the Office of Brownfield Reuse.  The afternoon sessions also include presentations on various topics relevant to brownfield remediation and reuse.

For information regarding the schedule of 2013 quarterly brownfield roundtables, please contact OBR at (609) 984-1790.
