LSRP Hot Topics - Do you know your role regarding public notification and responding to public inquiries?

One session will be held on:

Thursday, January 24th from 4:00 - 6:00 PM in the DEP Public Hearing Room, Trenton (registration begins at 3:30 PM)

Program Description
This session will provide LSRPs and other interested parties with an overview and update of the notification and public outreach rules in the ARRCS rules and the Public Notification Guidance document. In addition, a discussion on how early two-way communication with residents, business owners and local officials affected by a contaminated property is often critical to a successful investigation and cleanup. Case studies and tips on handling inquiries from the public and media will also be presented.
