To request information:

1. Buyer's guide and other educational or research materials (brochures, charts, rate tables, enrollment data, etc., are available on the website. However, you may request copies by calling (609) 633-1882.
2. Requests for data not already available online is subject to the Open Public Records Act.  Submit a request by following the directions here.

To comment, file a complaint, fact check:

1. Comments about rates should be directed to RateReviewComments@dobi.state.nj.us, but you may want to refer to the information about the rate review process first at: 

www.state.nj.us/dobi/lifehealthactuarial/rateinfo/
2. Use the Insurance Complaints / Inquiries process for other complaints and inquiries, or call (609) 292-7272.
3. Media requests should be directed to the DOBI Office of Public Affairs.

Contracts

The IHC Board has contracted with:
  • WithumSmith+Brown to perform annual financial audits of the Program for fiscal years ended June 30, 2009 through 2013.
  • WithumSmith+Brown to perform financial audits of NJ PROTECT through closure of that program, scheduled for January 1, 2014.
  • WithumSmith+Brown to perform audits of losses reported by carriers seeking reimbursements for losses incurred during the 2001/2002, 2003/2004, 2005/2006 and 2007/2008 two-year calculation periods.
  • Deloitte to perform audits of carriers seeking reimbursements for losses incurred during the 1997/1998 and 1999/2000 two-year calculation periods.
  • Navigant Consulting, Inc. for the purpose of obtaining objective information regarding multiple reimbursement methodologies.
The SEH Board has contracted with:
  • WithumSmith+Brown to perform annual audits of the Program for fiscal years ended June 30, 2009 through 2013.
