Pre-Licensure Schools

The following link will take you to the login page of your Online Licensing Services (OLS) menu. There you will login using the Reference Number and Personal Identification Number (PIN) of the School. Both of these numbers will be sent to you on a printed notice through the mail. An email will also be sent if the School has an email address filed with us.

The following steps will guide you through the Renewal process:

Have the School's Reference Number and PIN (sent to you on the Renewal notice) ready. Please read all instructions.

To login:

  • Enter your real estate license reference number in the field provided and click SEARCH (view sample login part 1 ).
  • Next you will be prompted to enter your school's PIN (view sample PIN entry). Enter the PIN which was sent to you (both on your printed Renewal Notice and in the corresponding email). Once you enter a valid PIN, you will be logged in to the NJDOBI Online Licensing Services menu.

Once logged in, if we do not have an email address for the school on file, you will be immediately prompted to enter a valid email address needed by the REC to send confirmational emails (sample email entry). Once your email address has been entered and you click the SAVE button, you will be transferred to your online Real Estate Licensing Services Main Menu:

4. Click "Complete School Qualifying Questionnaire" will bring you to the Pre-License Renewal School Qualifying Questionnaire page. This page lists the questions that must be answered for a pre-licensure school to renew. Once completed, click submit. A Questionnaire Certification page will be displayed giving you information and certifying that your answers are correct. Once submitted these answers cannot be changed. Click SUBMIT if everything looks correct.
5. Next click on the "Renew Pre-Licensure School License" application link. Doing so will display the Renewal Home page which shows the Fee Chart, a Current Renewal Summary showing the License types and status of your Renewal, and a Submitted Renewals Chart which will display the details of your Renewal once it has been submitted.
6. Clicking "Continue to Renewal List" will bring you to the Renewal List for your school. This lists the School License and any Additional Teaching locations currently licensed with your school. Your school will be automatically selected for renewal, however, the Additional Teaching (Satellite) locations are not automatically selected. Make sure you select the checkbox to the left of any additional teaching locations you would like to renew. Click "Continue" to proceed to a Renewal List Summary page. This page lists what you will be submitting for Renewal and the corresponding fees.
8. Clicking "Continue" will next display the Select Payment Method page. Decide whether you will be paying with credit card or electronic check.
9. Selecting "credit card" will display the pages which will allow you to enter your credit card information. For credit cards please make sure you complete the process. Always check for errors after you enter your data. Once all data is entered correctly, the payment information will be re-displayed for your verification. You must then scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the MAKE PAYMENT button. If you do not click this button, your payment will not be applied, and your Renewal application will NOT BE SUBMITTED.

Selecting Electronic Check will display the page allowing entry of bank account information.
10. Whether you pay by credit card or electronic check, a Renewal Confirmation page will be displayed and a confirmation email will be sent to you. Both the confirmation page and email contain all information concerning your Renewal transaction. If you DO NOT SEE THE CONFIRMATION PAGE, your Renewal WAS NOT SUBMITTED SUCCESSFULLY!
