CE Required to Reinstate a Broker, Broker-salesperson or Salesperson License

To reinstate a broker, broker-salesperson or salesperson license, you must complete the continuing education (“CE”) credits applicable to the license type in the preceding license term. 

  • Applicants to reinstate a broker, broker-salesperson or salesperson license must complete a total of twelve (12) CE credits as follows: 
  At least:   6 CE credits in core topics (at least 2 CE credits of which must be ethics); and
  An additional: 6 CE credits in electives or ethics or core. 
  • The CE required to reinstate could have been completed during the preceding license term (i.e., July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2017) or during the current license term (i.e., July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2019). 
  • If completed during the current license term, applicants must designate to the CE provider that the CE credit should be applied to the preceding license term.
OPRA is a state law that was enacted to give the public greater access to government records maintained by public agencies in New Jersey.
