Ombudsman was established to assist consumers with issues related to insurance
availability; claims processing; coverage questions and other matters
related to insurance consumer education and assistance. The Office also monitors carrier compliance with insurance laws and provides educational materials and consumer outreach programs related to insurance coverages and claims. |
