Pursuant to provisions of Order No. A09-112 issued by New Jersey Banking and Insurance Commissioner Neil Jasey on September 30, 2009, the NJ Department of Banking and Insurance will NOT accept any new online mortgage solicitor registrations, re-registrations (transfers) or terminations effective with the close of business on Monday, November 30, 2009.  These online capabilities will be disabled thereby preventing further online mortgage solicitor actions. This office will also accept no paper filings relating to mortgage solicitors as of close of business on November 30, 2009.  These actions are necessary to assist New Jersey in preparing for and transitioning to the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (“NMLS”) on January 4, 2010.  The Commissioner’s Order may be viewed at:  http://www.state.nj.us/dobi/orders/a09_112.pdf
