Important Updates for March 15 Business Meeting and Special Public Hearing
Please Note - Due to this Week's Winter Storm:
  • The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) is MOVING the start time of its quarterly business meeting on March 15 to 2 p.m. from the previously scheduled 10:30 a.m. start time. The business meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Washington Crossing Historic Park Visitor Center, 1112 River Road, Washington Crossing, Pa. 
  • The special public hearing on the proposed resolution to review aquatic life uses in the Delaware River Estuary, which had previously been scheduled for 2 p.m., is CANCELLED and will be re-scheduled. Details on the re-scheduled hearing will be provided in a new public notice when available.

The agenda for the 2 p.m. business meeting can be found on the DRBC web site. Upon the conclusion of commission business at the 2 p.m. meeting, the DRBC is expecting to hold up to one hour of Open Public Comment.

  • As previously announced, the Open Public Comment session has reached speaker capacity, and the DRBC is not accepting additional names. The list of those who previously pre-registered to speak will be used.
  •  Attendees are encouraged to carefully read and observe all procedures for Business Meetings (pdf 357 KB) and Open Public Comment Sessions (pdf 383 KB).
  • The capacity of the auditorium is limited to the number of available seats and will not be exceeded to ensure public safety.
  • Attendees will be subject to a security screening prior to entering the auditorium. Security screening for entrance into the auditorium is expected to begin at approximately 1 p.m. A line may form outside of the building to gain entrance to the auditorium, so please dress accordingly.
  • Attendees are asked to take home with them any materials they bring to Washington Crossing Historic Park. Please do not leave signs or trash in the visitor center or on the grounds.
