2012-2013 Schedule for NJ Bilingual/ESL Programs

October

• October 15 is the core data submission snapshot date for NJSMART and ASSA.  Verify the accuracy of LEP and immigrant student information currently on the district database (Powerschool, Genesis, etc.) in order to ensure eligibility for state and federal funds. 
• Non-public school enrolment data is collected as of October 15.
• Various Bilingual/ESL NJDOE Workshops take place in Edison, NJ.

November

• AMAO accountability data is posted to NJDOE Homeroom.

December

• Various Bilingual/ESL NJDOE Workshops take place in Edison, NJ.

January

• ACCESS test ordering window opens (1/24/13 - 2/23/13).

February

• Deadline for Pre-ID data submission to NJSMART for the ACCESS for ELLs (02/1/13).

March

• Create ACCESS for ELLs test schedule.
• District receives ACCESS materials (3/11/13).
• ACCESS for ELLs testing window (3/18/13 - 4/30/13).

April

• Deadline for district to order any additional ACCESS materials (4/16/13)
• District packs ACCESS materials (4/30/13-5/6/13).

May

• District ships completed ACCESS material to MT (5/12/13).
• Bilingual education waiver application due.

June

• ACCESS data validation window (6/9/13-6/9/13).

July

• Districts receive ACCESS reports (7/7/13-7/10/13).
