Grants

In March of 2012, the NJDOE was awarded a 14 million dollar Federal Charter School Program Grant (CSP) to help expand the number of high quality charter schools in New Jersey. Over the past two years, the Charter School Office has run multiple grant competitions for startup planning, first year and second year implementation, dissemination of best practices, and the expansion of current highly successful charter schools.  There will be no new competitive grants available under this round of the CSP program. This page will post all the past CSP grant notifications as well as links to other external grant opportunities.  Please contact Jim Palmer at james.palmer@doe.state.nj.us  to inquire about the CSP grant.
